Stepping Up For Seniors 5k Was A Huge Success

What a Day!

On September 6th, Home Matters Caregiving proudly hosted our 2nd Annual 5K Run/Walk in Beaverton, Oregon—and the community truly showed up! Together, we raised over $5,000 in support of Stepping Up for Seniors, a program that helps low-income seniors in crisis get the assistance they need.

Every dollar raised goes directly toward supporting seniors through:

Medical Assistance – Essential services, equipment, and supplies
Basic Needs & Transportation – Utilities, property taxes, and safe rides
Home Care Support – The care you or your loved one needs
Referrals – Professional advice and guidance
Fighting Loneliness – Programs that combat isolation and foster connection

We aredeeply grateful to everyone who laced up their shoes, cheered from the sidelines, donated, or helped spread the word. Your support is making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable seniors right here in our community.
