Women’s History Month – Women in Senior Care Series

During Women’s History Month, we are profiling several female leaders at Home Matters. They hold many different positions. They come from many different walks of life. But they all have a passion for serving our senior population.

Meet Morry Bowling

Morry is an Area Owner for Home Matters Caregiving in Southern Oregon and Northern California. Morry was ambitious from a young age, and was one of only two people in her family to earn a college degree.  Morry found Home Matters after a long career in high tech where she was a leader in a male dominated industry. She was looking for a career choice she could feel passionate about, and would allow her to give back to the community.

As a leader, Morry leads with humor and compassion to motivate people to get the job done. She believes she is only as good as the team surrounding her. In her role as an Area Owner, Morry has the opportunity to identify and support individuals who want to be entrepreneurs. She is looking forward to mentoring women who, like her, are looking for a fulfilling career where they can give back to their community.

Morry’s advice to other female leaders and entrepreneurs is to never hesitate to share your accomplishments. You have to believe in yourself in order for others to believe in you. She also encourages women to be a mentor to other women who are seeking leadership roles, there is room for all of us at the top. Morry wants to see more women in high level leadership roles due to the unique strengths women bring to the table. She wants women to embrace their natural compassion and empathy in the workplace, creating better outcomes for everyone.
