A profound sense of purpose rooted in my childhood experience caring for my aging grandparents ignited my passion for healthcare. Over 19 years ago, I embarked on a journey in the healthcare industry that has not only shaped my career, but also fueled my unwavering commitment to improving patient care and operational efficiency.
My career path has taken me through a variety of roles, including Operations Manager, Healthcare Management, Workforce Management, Recruiter, Staffing Management, and Executive Administrator. Each of these positions has provided me with invaluable hands-on experience, enriching my understanding of the vital connection between healthcare providers and patients. This frontline perspective has become the cornerstone of my leadership approach, guiding my efforts to foster environments where both healthcare professionals and patients thrive.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of identifying and bringing onboard talented individuals who share a passion for excellence. By building teams that embody compassion, competence, and dedication, I’ve been able to help drive a culture of operational excellence and patient-centered care.
In my current role as an Executive Administrator, I combine operational expertise with strategic vision to deliver comprehensive healthcare solutions that drive efficiency, compliance, and exceptional care. I strive to create workplaces where healthcare professionals can flourish, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality care, every time.
With a diverse background that bridges clinical and administrative functions, I’m deeply committed to advancing healthcare and making a lasting impact on both staff and patients. It’s not just a career for me; it’s a lifelong mission to create positive change in the healthcare industry.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time at church, attending comedy shows, and listening to music. I’m happily married with a blended family of six, and my family is my greatest source of inspiration. They are the driving force behind my relentless pursuit of excellence in healthcare and my dedication to continuous improvement.
I look forward to continuing my journey, empowered by a passion for service, leadership, and a commitment to making a meaningful difference in the world of healthcare.
One of my earliest memories is from a Sunday afternoon after church. My parents sat me down with my older brother and younger sister and asked us what we thought about going to Mexico as missionaries. Growing up in Mexico as a missionary kid taught me early on and firsthand about caring for folks, from helping members in my dad’s church with hospital visits to planning, meal prepping, and cooking for our Tuesday night home gatherings, then cleaning up afterward.
About 11 years ago, I had an opportunity to move to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and buy a run-down restaurant with my brothers to build up and feed some Louisiana folks handmade, street-style tacos. We used everything we had to create a menu and start our restaurant business. That was the beginning of what has brought me to this amazing opportunity with this incredible Home Matters Caregiving team.
Through my restaurant experience, my technical background, and being in the right place at the right time, I was able to join forces with Tyson and Tyler in a restaurant technology start-up that grew exponentially and became a publicly traded company on NASDAQ. Not only was that experience valuable in and of itself, but it also connected me with an extended family, which is growing and growing.
I have a passion for people, I love technology, I love providing great care to folks and I love being part of a family of friends who are excited to help others every day. I could have never imagined how my crazy life’s puzzle pieces would fit together to be here but thankfully God knows and makes it all happen.
I am a dedicated and compassionate Staffing Manager with over three years of experience in the home healthcare industry. In my current role, I manage a team of caregivers, ensuring the highest level of care for clients by delivering personalized services that meet the unique needs of each individual. My career in healthcare began as a caregiver, where I developed a deep understanding of the physical, emotional, and mental support required to care for seniors. This hands-on experience has shaped my approach as a manager, allowing me to lead with both empathy and insight.
As a Staffing Manager, I work closely with clients and their families to ensure their needs are met, while also supporting and training caregivers to provide the best possible care. I am known for my caring nature, strong communication skills, and my ability to foster a positive and supportive environment for both clients and staff. My goal is to ensure that every client receives the quality, compassionate care they deserve.
I attended Houston Community College, where I gained the educational foundation to further my career in healthcare. Driven by a passion for helping seniors, I am committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of those I serve, ensuring that they live with dignity and receive the attention they need to thrive.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, finding joy in the connections that help recharge my spirit.
Serving as Houston’s Business Development Manager at Home Matters Caregiving is something that continues to excite me. Born and raised in the Houston area, I bring a diverse professional background that allows me to connect with clients and partners on a deeper level.
My career has taken me from a CPA firm, where I developed strong analytical skills, to hands-on roles as an electrician and solar panel installer, emphasizing problem-solving and teamwork. Most importantly, my experience as a private caregiver gave me firsthand insight into the challenges seniors and their families face, fueling my passion for helping others find quality care.
Home health care is personal to me—many of my family members work in the industry, making this mission even more meaningful. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active at the gym and spending time with family and friends.
I’m thrilled to be part of the Home Matters Caregiving team and look forward to helping families find the compassionate care they deserve.
At my core, I am an entrepreneur. Over the past 12 years, I’ve dedicated my life to starting and building companies in both the on-demand consumer technology space and the senior care industry. Along this journey, I had the privilege of turning a simple idea into a publicly traded company, creating thousands of jobs and opportunities. While proud of this accomplishment, I yearned to align my personal calling with my professional mission, leading me to the undeniable choice of Home Matters Caregiving.
In 2020, amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, I made the pivotal decision to join the Home Matters team. This commitment wasn’t just a strategic business move; it was a heartfelt dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of our aging population, their families, and our incredible team members. For me, it’s about extending the same level of care, compassion, and dedication I reserve for my own family to the communities we serve.
Beyond the business realm, I’m a former college basketball player standing tall at 6’5”. When I’m not in the office, you’ll likely find me savoring moments with my family or indulging in my current sports obsession, beach volleyball. I am happily married with two incredible sons, family is my anchor. Recognizing the preciousness of time, I strive to be the best husband and father I can be, ensuring that every moment away from them holds profound meaning. I’m grateful that Home Matters allows me to seamlessly merge my personal calling and professional mission.
In 2020, I was looking for a new business venture. I was introduced to an opportunity in the in-home senior care industry and after many brainstorming and strategy sessions, I found myself becoming more and more passionate about caring for our aging population. Since then, my guiding principle for every decision our team makes is simple: how will it enhance our ability to offer better care to more individuals?
Drawing upon my experience in marketing and operations, I have supported our team in various capacities. This includes shaping our core processes and procedures via continuous improvement, as well as caregiver recruitment and scheduling and increasing our engagement with the communities we serve. I love being able to say that our team truly embodies servant leadership and strives to give all of our clients the care that they deserve.
I call Louisiana home, with my wife and son. Away from work I enjoy coaching youth sports, playing golf and supporting my alma maters, Mississippi State University and the University of Memphis. I’m also a fan of live music and finding good food off the beaten path.
My ultimate objective for our agencies, and the Home Matters franchise as a whole, is to foster continued growth, enabling us to serve more seniors and create more job opportunities for caregivers.
Throughout my career I have always been dedicated to ensuring any organization I am a part of is well-prepared for future growth and success. With a strong background in project management and process optimization, I often work behind the scenes to make sure operations run smoothly and efficiently, allowing the company to scale while maintaining high standards.
Before stepping into this role, I held positions as Sr. Project Manager and Digital Project Manager at an Elite HubSpot Partner Agency, leading teams to solve complex challenges and improve systems across various departments. My focus has always been on identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that drive both immediate results and long-term growth.
Known for my problem-solving skills, I am passionate about creating processes that help organizations thrive. As Chief of Staff, I’ll continue to play a pivotal role in aligning teams, enhancing communication, and supporting leadership to execute strategic goals.
While I am not working, you can usually find me at my children’s sporting events, enjoying any type of Louisiana cuisine, or simply spending time with my family and loved ones.
With a keen eye on the future, I am committed to making sure Home Matters is ready for what’s next, from ensuring internal processes are streamlined to helping teams stay agile and focused on what matters most.
