Hi, my name is Kristi Edwards the Franchise Owner and Administrator for Home Matters Caregiving in San Luis Obispo. Throughout my life, I have naturally fallen into roles in helping others. Whether it’s family, friends, or strangers; people who need help tend to rely on me and trust me. Because of this, Home Matters Caregiving is a natural fit.
In addition to providing care for those who may need a little extra help, I am a mother to three beautiful children. Harmony, Ronnie, and Henry are my utmost priority and because of them, I strive to make the world a better place and be the best example to them. I am married to an amazing man named Jourdan. He has worked extremely hard for me and our children. His hard work, however, has taken him away from home more often than not. Our goal is for him to be home full time and this is ultimately what led me to starting this agency.
Opening a Caregiving Agency is the most fulfilling thing I have done yet. I will be able to have my family together while helping others keep their family at home. I love what I do. I love that I can help people every single day. I have the confidence it takes to make a difference in San Luis Obispo County.
At my purist form, I am a personal trainer. For the past 4 years, I’ve been working with many age groups on building and sustaining a healthy lifestyle. I’ve had the privilege of rehabbing numerous aging adults, strengthening their bodies to withstand metabolic diseases. My passion for helping others has led me to a partnership with Kristi Edwards in developing Home Matters Caregiving. Over the years I have developed and strengthened my purpose in life. For me, it’s about helping aging adults prolong and enjoy their golden years. With one caregiver at a time, I look to provide the services aging adults need.
You may catch me doing a CrossFit workout or spending time with my family in my free time. I cherish every second I have with my loved ones, which is why I understand the importance of taking care of yours.
