To empower caregivers with the training, heart, and purpose to provide care that is not only effective but also deeply human—bringing comfort and confidence to every home we touch.
To serve as a trusted partner in care—delivering heartfelt, high-quality support that fosters dignity and well-being for seniors and provides families with comfort, confidence, and peace.
For Noel and Ros, caring for others has never been just a responsibility. It has been a lifelong calling rooted in family, compassion, and a deep commitment to helping people live with dignity and independence.
Raised in Filipino families where caring for elders is a cherished tradition, they learned early that true care means supporting the whole person, not just their medical needs. Those values have shaped their approach to serving individuals with complex health, social, and family challenges.
Noel spent more than 20 years helping care for his grandfather, who lived with epilepsy, and later supported his father through years of recovery after multiple strokes. These experiences taught him the importance of advocacy, care coordination, crisis prevention, and keeping loved ones safely at home whenever possible.
Ros remained closely connected to her grandparents throughout her life and later brought her widowed mother to California to ensure she remained surrounded by family, support, and community. Her experiences reinforced the power of family engagement, cultural understanding, and strong support systems in improving quality of life.
Over the years, Noel and Ros extended their care beyond family, helping friends, neighbors, and community members navigate the challenges of aging and health-related needs. Noel eventually became an In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) provider in Solano County, further strengthening his commitment to serving vulnerable populations.
Today, their personal experiences form the foundation of their passion for whole-person care. They understand that meaningful outcomes are achieved through trust, relationship-building, proactive support, and addressing the social factors that impact health and well-being. Their approach focuses on helping individuals remain engaged, connected, and supported while reducing risks that can lead to avoidable crises, hospitalizations, or institutional care.
For Noel and Ros, this work is more than a profession. It is the continuation of a lifelong mission to improve lives, strengthen families, and deliver compassionate, person-centered care to those who need it most.
My transition from hospitality leadership to healthcare was driven by a desire to make a deeper impact in people’s lives. At Home Matters Caregiving Napa, I found the opportunity to do just that by supporting not only the physical needs of seniors, but their emotional and mental well-being as well.
I believe true care means caring for the whole person. Many older adults face challenges such as loneliness, depression, anxiety, grief, cognitive decline, and social isolation. These issues often affect overall health as much as any physical condition. Through compassionate companionship, meaningful engagement, active listening, and strong family support, we help seniors feel connected, valued, and empowered to live with dignity and purpose.
My background in hospitality taught me the importance of creating environments where people feel seen, heard, and respected. Today, I bring that same commitment to every client, ensuring they receive person-centered care that promotes independence, mental wellness, and a higher quality of life.
I am grateful to Rosalyn and Noel for their trust and leadership, and I am proud to be part of an organization dedicated to improving outcomes through compassionate, relationship-based care.
For me, caregiving is more than a profession. It is an opportunity to strengthen lives, support mental and emotional wellness, and help every individual thrive in the comfort of their own home and community.
Hello, I’m Jennilyn Mallorca, a Registered Nurse with nine years of healthcare experience spanning emergency care, acute care, telemetry, and medical-surgical nursing. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in Manila, Philippines, and currently serve as an Orthopedic, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry Nurse at UCSF St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Throughout my nursing career, I have cared for individuals with complex medical conditions, coordinating treatment plans, providing patient education, advocating for patients and families, and helping individuals navigate challenging healthcare journeys. These experiences have reinforced my belief that better health outcomes are achieved when care extends beyond clinical treatment to address the whole person.
At Home Matters, my role closely aligns with whole-person care goals by supporting person-centered care, improving care coordination, and helping individuals remain safely and successfully in their homes and communities. I am passionate about empowering clients and families through education, health coaching, and proactive support that promotes self-management and independence using current technology through Home Matters.
I recognize that many individuals facing chronic illness also experience challenges such as anxiety, depression, social isolation, or barriers to accessing care. By focusing on both physical and behavioral health needs, we can help improve engagement, strengthen support systems, and address factors that often contribute to unnecessary emergency room visits, hospitalizations, and worsening health conditions.
My commitment is to help every client feel heard, respected, and supported while working collaboratively with healthcare providers, caregivers, families, and community resources to improve outcomes and quality of life. Through compassionate care, early intervention, and ongoing advocacy, I strive to advance the goals of whole-person care and Enhanced Care Management for the individuals and families we serve.
