Transitioning from my role as a General Manager in the hotel industry to entering the healthcare field, specifically with Home Matters Caregiving Napa, has been a transformative experience for me. My passion for helping others, particularly the elderly, has always been a guiding force in my life. This new career allows me to channel that passion into making a tangible difference for those who need support, compassion, and care the most.
During my years in hospitality, I learned the importance of service, attention to detail, and creating environments where others feel valued. However, I found myself yearning for a deeper sense of purpose—a way to impact lives in a more meaningful way. Joining Home Matters Caregiving Napa was the answer. Here, I am not only able to care for the elderly but also offer employment opportunities to individuals who share the same dedication to service.
Healthcare, particularly caregiving, is a field where the value of your work is immediately visible. Every day, I witness how our services uplift families and enrich the lives of the elderly. It is incredibly gratifying to know that our efforts contribute to the well-being and comfort of others. This career fuels my drive; it is both uplifting and humbling to be part of something so meaningful.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Rosalyn and Noel, the owners of Home Matters Caregiving Napa. Their belief in my abilities and trust in my leadership have been instrumental in my journey. Their support empowers me to strive for excellence and guide HMC Napa toward becoming a true success story—one driven by compassion, dedication, and positive outcomes for our clients and team members.
As I continue this journey, I am inspired every day by the people I serve and the team I lead. I am committed to growing HMC Napa into a place where care, opportunity, and second chances flourish, and where we consistently make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Hi I’m Jennilyn Mallorca, a hardworking, compassionate, and team player Registered Nurse that has been in the healthcare industry for 9 years. Working in a home care setting like Home Matters, we allow patients to receive care in their own homes, which can provide comfort, reduce anxiety, and foster a sense of independence by delivering care in the comfort of their homes. Our team helps improve their quality of life and facilitate their recovery process better.
As a Registered Nurse at Home Matters, my primary goals align with providing high quality patient care, empowering patients and families by educating them to manage their health effectively at home, promoting self-care, and reducing hospitalizations, as well as contributing to the company’s growth, and fostering our professional development.
