The prospect of caring for the elderly fills me with immense joy & heartfelt emotion, particularly as I witness my own parents navigate their golden years. I’ve come to treasure the profound wisdom, captivating stories, & cherished experiences that our elders possess. I eagerly look forward to the opportunity to forge cherished memories, share laughter, & ensure that my parents, as well as others in similar circumstances, lead lives filled with fulfillment & comfort during this beautiful phase of life.
This journey of caregiving resonates deeply with me- it transcends mere physical care, encompassing emotional support, companionship, & the creation of a nurturing environment where our loved ones can thrive in their later years. I aim to utilize the knowledge & skills acquired throughout my extensive corporate career, particularly in process centricity & customer service, to revolutionize the provision of care. My objective is to shift the focus towards prioritizing holistic care over mere curative measures, ultimately enhancing the overall quality of caregiving experiences & positively impacting the lives of those who have given us so much.

My role is to infuse our workplace with optimism & creativity through engaging activities & events. By boosting morale, fostering teamwork, & promoting innovation among employees, I aim to enhance experiences with our brand, improve customer service, drive innovation, & strengthen relationships.
Deep within my heart lies the need to build & sustain strong connections. While establishing these connections requires time, the investment is worthwhile. My “laughter is the best medicine” approach ensures that both employees & clients have delightful and memorable interactions with our organization, contributing to our overall success & growth.
Dennis Matfus, Director of Business Development
I have over 20 years of experience in homecare and hospice, I’ve crafted strategies that utilize our company’s quality and expertise in the market. I apply these strategies to every client or referral I work with. I hold strong sentiments about aging and enhancing the lives of older adults. I am dedicated to ensuring exceptional service that meets the needs of every client. I am responsible for building relationships within the many communities we serve.
My career began with the VNA of Hartford, which later became one of the largest and most diverse homecare companies in New England, Hartford Healthcare @Home. I have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (a degree I’ve never used!) and am a proud US Military Veteran. I am an avid reader of military biographies. When not working, my school teacher wife, Pam, and I enjoy traveling, visiting, and caring for our grandchild.
