HCAOA Conference

June 1, 2022

The Home Care Association of America’s Washington state chapter invited Clayton Foutch, COO of Home Matters Caregiving, to speak to their members about the caregiver shortage challenges facing the In-Home industry in 2022.  The focus of this workshop was how to create a culture of retention, teaching your team to make each interaction with your caregivers “purposeful”, and how to track, and more importantly, continually improve your agencies turnover rates.

In order to be a successful agency in this climate, everyone on your team needs to understand that the professional caregiver is the key to your success.  By effectively listening to the needs of your caregiving team, you can remove barriers impeding their success in your organization.  By doing this both your retention rates will improve along with the overall satisfaction from your clients.  A true win/win/win.
