Caregiver of the Year Nomination 2022

July 7, 2022

About:  Sherri Plant has been a valuable member of our caregiving team since May 2017.  For the past five years, Sherri has served a wide range of Home Matters Caregiving clients in their home and within the Portland community.  Being a healthcare professional, Sherri’s skills range from companion care, medication administration, hospice end of life care and everything in between.  As a leader in the industry, Sherri puts her clients first and her heart into everything she does.  Not only do our clients and family members consistently praise her performance, but our entire staff enjoys working with her.  Sherri is a first responder and takes pride in taking care of those that can’t take care of themselves.

Example: A 5-star review was solely based on the care Sherri provided:
“I am so pleased with every aspect of my experience with Home Matters. Sherri and the office staff were very helpful and Sherri, who came and cared for my wife, was outstanding. All of them are professionals and it absolutely made a difficult time in my family’s life much easier. There are not enough words to express my gratitude for Sherri’s help and guidance.”

Awards: Member of President Club twice and caregiver of the month multiple times over the past 5 years.

Qualities: Loyal with the highest level of work ethic: aside from planned time off, Sherri rarely misses a day with her client.  Dedicated: Sherri’s clients come first.  Loved: The senior population we serve holds Sherri in the highest regard.  Our clients are constantly praising not only the care she provides but her motivation behind it.  She provides services with dignity and respect always keeping the person in mind as an individual.  Sherri is the example of the Professional Caregiver.
