Jack Wright was born in 1935 in Oregon City, Oregon. He has lived in Oregon City for his entire life. Jack loves Christmas time because everyone is so happy and festive. Jack says he grew up poor but has fond memories of raising chickens and rabbits. He didn’t like having to eat the rabbits though as that made him sad. Jack has been married to his wife for 70 years and they have one child. Jack loves travel and used to climb mountains and teach cross country skiing. His advice for the younger generations is to stay loose and not get excited about the things we can’t control. There’s no sense getting excited about the things we can’t control, we only get this one life. Jack enjoys having caregivers in his home, so he’s not alone all the time. He says all of his caregivers have been great, especially Chelsey. Our team has enjoyed getting to know Jack, and hearing his great stories.
