Our Caregiver of the Month is Benisha Thompson!
Benisha has been a caregiver most her life. She grew up helping her grandmother who owned an adult senior care home. “Caregiving came naturally as I helped my grandma with her residents.” When not taking care of her clients at Home Matters Caregiving, Benisha spends time with her two children, going to the park or anything that involves being outside with them. When asked what caregiving has taught her the most over the years, she replied, “Patience. I have a big heart and love listening to the stories, but most important is being patient.”
Benisha has been with a Home Matters for a short time but already making a big impact on those she serves. What are our clients saying about her? “Benisha is caring and fun to be with. She listens to music with me and makes sure I’m taken care of.”
