We love to support our community resources. Durable medical equipment and supplies can be expensive and many older adults find themselves going without necessary equipment due to the cost. A Caring Closet is working to relieve that burden and provides free durable medical equipment to those in need. In order to provide this valuable service they rely on the community for support and donations. Many families find themselves in possession of equipment that is no longer needed and they don’t know what to do with these valuable items. A Caring Closet will accept donations of clean equipment in good working order. This month our Executive Director, Heidi, was able to pick up some supplies from our clients and drop them off at A Caring Closet’s warehouse. Their volunteers were delighted with the donation, and our clients were happy to know the items would be put to good use.
