Bill was born in Pasadena and grew up in Southern California. His favorite holiday is Christmas, as he appreciates how it brings people together to think of one another. His favorite childhood memories include listening to the sound of storms and electricity near his childhood home, as well as playing in Eden Falls with his friends and family.

Throughout his life, Bill has lived in several states, including Oregon, California, Montana, and Arizona. He was married for a short time before his wife passed away, and he later shared 35 years with a long-term girlfriend, though he never remarried. He has two daughters.

Bill’s hobbies include traveling, sailing, cycling, and astronomy. His advice to the younger generation is to not focus solely on work, but to truly live and enjoy your life.
