Daryl’s story begins in Portland, Oregon, where he was born at the historic St. Vincent Hospital on Westover Road. Though his roots were planted in Portland, it was Helena, Montana, that truly became his home and shaped much of who he is today. Among the many joys in his life, Halloween has always held a special place in his heart. He delights in the playful thrill of the holiday—celebrating themes of the afterlife and reveling in the fun of a good scare.
One of his most cherished childhood memories is the day his cousin gave him a ride on a Harley chopper. Daryl was only seven years old, but the excitement of that ride left an impression so vivid that it still brings a smile whenever he recalls it.
Beyond these fond recollections, Daryl’s greatest fulfillment has been in his personal life. For nearly three decades—29 wonderful years—he and his wife have shared a life filled with love, laughter, and countless treasured moments together.
