Best In Senior Living

In 2022, there were only 14 home care agencies to receive the Best In Senior Living award among thousands of agencies across the US and Canada. This honor is awarded based on feedback from those that matter most… our clients and their family members.

It’s no surprise that one of the 14 agencies honored was Home Matters. Our unique Nurse-Guided Care model enables consistently better care according to our clients and their families.

We had such an amazing experience with HMC. Finding a caregiver for our mom was no easy task. We interviewed multiple companies/caregivers before we came across Home Matters. I'm so thankful we waited. Thank you to the staff at HMC for loving and taking care of our mom the way we would.

Our Story

Home Matters Caregiving was founded in 2007 by Clay and Christina Foutch in Beaverton, Oregon with a strong vision of care that would redefine excellence in the home care industry.

Central to their vision was the Nurse-Guided Care philosophy where the experience and knowledge of a senior care nurse would play a central role in ensuring Home Matters clients and their families received personalized high quality care.

As a result, Home Matters quickly became the agency of choice among physicians, hospitals and much of the medical community in Beaverton, and later in multiple states as Home Matters expanded their unique approach to in-home senior care.

Clay and Christina are gratified to see their legacy of home care excellence expand throughout the Home Matters organization. Home Matters’ care professionals are passionate about ensuring every client is cared for with excellence. They believe not only in great care, but they receive great purpose in developing caring relationships with our clients.

Giving Back

At Home Matters, we love what we do. Serving others and improving the lives of our clients and their family members inspires us month after month. But in addition to providing great care, we desire to be an organization that gives back to the community.

As our organization grows and succeeds, we believe that the communities we serve should benefit as well. That’s why we generously donate to and serve with a core group of non-profit organizations such as Stepping Up for Seniors, Stepping Stones of Hope, and the Alzheimer’s Association.

By partnering with strategic non-profit organizations, we are building a legacy of giving back that makes us smile with every client we serve.
