October Client Spotlight

October 30, 2024
Joyce Coffey

Our October Client Spotlight shines on Joyce Coffey, a cherished member of our community. Joyce was born and raised in Snomac, Oklahoma, and has spent the majority of her life in Pasadena, Texas. Her favorite holiday is Christmas, a time she treasures for its family gatherings. One of her fondest childhood memories is learning German from her grandfather, an experience unique to her among her siblings and cousins, which made their secretive conversations all the more special.

Joyce was married twice, each time for three and a half years, and she is a proud mother to her beloved son, Kevin. Her hobbies include playing the piano, which brings her immense joy. When asked about the wisdom she would impart to the younger generation, Joyce advises, “Don’t do drugs and follow your dreams,” encapsulating a message of hope and caution.

Joyce speaks highly of the care provided by Home Matters, expressing genuine appreciation for the dedicated caregivers who go above and beyond in their efforts to support her. She loves the personalized attention and the earnest efforts made to enhance her quality of life, making her feel valued and well-cared for every day.
