It all started when I (Howard) watched my Mom who lived far away, lose her independence and happiness in an assisted living center. I wished I could do more for her and I swore then that at some point in my life I would do something to help others age independently and with the best care at home.
When I had the opportunity to leave the corporate world, I searched extensively for an innovative home-care business.
That’s when I stumbled on Home Matters Caregiving, a new franchise brand founded by two very successful operators in Oregon and Arizona. Both founders were recognized as being in the top 5% of their peers for Providers of Choice for Clients and Employer of Choice for Caregivers. They leverage a nurse-guided model where an experienced nurse oversees the quality of care provided to every client. They use a purpose-driven method of training and care that allow seniors to thrive both physically and emotionally.
I told my business colleague and friend, and he was blown away by their story. He too could relate. He was a long-distance caregiver for his elderly parents, who experienced a daily struggle balancing their conditions and fierce desire to live independently at home. Their caregivers allowed them to make progress at home and gave him peace of mind. He too wanted to give that to others in Atlanta.
So together with the individual help of the franchise founders, we started Home Matters in Atlanta, with an experienced skilled nurse as our leader. Overseeing all our client care plans, and helping guide you during a difficult time, gives you a trusted resource to answer your questions and help you anticipate future developments.
We will strive for the same level of care as we wanted for our own parents. That means listening to understand each client and their family’s current situation. We will work with you on an individualized care plan and match you with the right caregiver that has the knowledge and skills to deliver the compassionate care you deserve.
