Women’s History Month – Women in Senior Care Series
During Women’s History Month, we are profiling several female leaders at Home Matters. They hold many different positions. They come from many different walks of life. But they all have a passion for serving our senior population.
Meet Carlee Clark
Carlee Clark, our Executive Director, chose to join Home Matters Caregiving because she was driven by the desire to make a significant impact on the lives of others, and it was crucial for her to be part of a company that values her contributions to clients and the community. Upon meeting the team and understanding the mission of Home Matters, Carlee felt confident that her dedication and care would be recognized and valued. She has witnessed firsthand the company’s commitment to its teams, clients, and communities, and is proud to be a part of their efforts.
For aspiring female leaders, Carlee’s advice emphasizes the importance of how you treat others. “No matter the situation, treat others with kindness and respect and it will be easy to lead others. Anyone can be a boss but it takes someone with true compassion and kindness to lead others.”
Carlee seeks to empower other women through her leadership by fostering a supportive environment within her team. She focuses on connecting with and encouraging her team members, advocating for a culture free from competition and full of encouragement. Her approach is geared towards uplifting others and promoting a collaborative and supportive workplace.
