Clayton Foutch

Clay Foutch has been in the In-Home Care business in the Portland Metropolitan area since founding the company in 2007. As President of Home Matters Caregiving, his greatest skill is in assembling a qualified team to carry out his company’s mission. A mission to provide exceptional care to the aging population at an affordable cost, and to do so with the most medically competent team in the market. Clay feels strongly that the best way to serve his clients is by providing In-Home Care with the utmost respect and competence allowing his clients to remain in their home safely and independently for as long as possible. Outside of Home Matters, Clay serves seniors through work as a board member for the Alzheimer’s Association SW Washington Chapter and also as a board member with Stepping Up For Seniors, an organization that serves seniors that fall below the poverty line. Clay also volunteers as a committee member for Beaverton’s Committee on Aging whose purpose is to discover and examine the issues and concerns of the aging population in the City of Beaverton and offer representation, information, and education regarding these issues.

Heidi Rowell

Heidi has been working with older adults since 1999, when she started her career as a CNA.  It was during her time as a CNA that Heidi realized her passion for working with people living with Alzheimer’s and other dementia.  During her career Heidi has held many leadership positions, most recently as the program director for the Alzheimer’s Association Oregon & SW Washington Chapter.  Heidi uses the skills that she has gained over the course of her career to guide our team in providing high quality care in the home.  She is a graduate of George Fox University and a lifelong Oregonian. 

Christina Foutch, OTR

Christina Foutch earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University. Her clinical specialty is in the area of geriatric care. Her focus in Alzheimer’s Dementia, Stroke and physical disabilities allows her clients and caregivers an unmatched resource. She is skilled in the areas of transfer and mobility training, behavior modification techniques, and adaptive equipment allowing increased independence, mobility and safety in the home for her clients. Her occupational therapy interventions include home safety evaluations, initial assessments, Advanced Caregiver training and fall prevention education.

Christina is certified by the Alzheimer’s Association to teach their courses throughout Portland. She also runs an Alzheimer’s art program, Memories in the Making, every Friday which is the best part of her week!

Shayna Freeman, RN

Shayna started her career in health care as a caregiver in 2008.  She went on to achieve her CNA license in 2010.  Graduated from Mount Hood Community College with her Associates in Nursing in 2014 and from OHSU with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2020.  Her nursing experience includes two years of one-on-one private nursing for a client with complex medical needs and one year of working in a busy outpatient dialysis clinic.  Though Shayna is new to the role of Nurse for a homecare agency, her many years of caregiving experience give her a good understanding of how to support clients and their families.  Shayna was inspired to enter the health care field by the support her family received from caregivers and hospice nurses while her Mother passed away from cancer in 2006.  She enjoys cooking, hosting, exercising and time in nature with her three year old, daughter and her Fiancée.     

Cynthia Feinberg, RN

Our newest Nurse, Cynthia, has been a caregiver in healthcare for her entire adult life. She states “I can’t even imagine doing anything else”.  Her long career features 15 years as a licensed midwife, 10 years as a CNA, and 18 years as a Registered Nurse. It was a 96-year-old client who convinced Cynthia to go to nursing school. Cynthia is most proud of her volunteer work for the Multnomah County Emergency Response team, mostly doing triage at the winter homeless shelters.

When asked “Why do you love working at Home Matters?” She responded: “The owners of this company (Christina and Clay) are two of the most dedicated people to the elderly, that I have ever met, and their whole team reflects it. They are the care in homecare and I’m proud to work with them!” Cynthia and her husband (Howie) will celebrate their 48th wedding Anniversary this year, and they have 3 adult children and 3 wonderful grandchildren all living in the Portland area. She is looking forward to meeting you soon.

Regina Hale, Recruiting and Retention Manager

Regina Hale is HMC’s Recruiting and Retention Manager. She enjoys helping and being a first responder to our caregiving team and clients. Regina enjoys listening to our clients, especially their love stories that took decades to build. Regina has a passion for memory care and cognitive health.  She has experience in behavioral health working in education as a Behavioral Therapist helping children and adults on the spectrum of Autism and cognitive developmental disabilities. Regina enjoys sports and developing her competitive side as Home Matter’s Recruiter. 

Sydni Orton, Community Manager

Sydni has been in the caregiving and senior industry for over7 years.  Before formally entering the workforce, Sydni was a natural born caregiver caring for family and family friends. Sydni has worked in both community settings as well as in-home care.  After several years working as a caregiver, med tech and RCC, Sydni achieved her goal and received her administrator’s license.  Sydni’s long-term goal is to become a nurse and continue her passion caring and educating those with Alzheimer’s Dementia.

Alyssa Munsterman, Weekend Manager

Alyssa has been in the business of helping the senior community for over 10 years.  From caregiving to office administrative employment, she always has our clients’ best interest at heart.  As the Weekend Manager for Home Matters Caregiving, Alyssa’s primary focus is to support our clients, their family members and our caregiving team in a 24/7 business.

Cindy Barrett, Client Services Manager

Cindy is a lifelong Oregonian, and grew up in Grants Pass. She moved to Portland in
early 2021 to be closer to her adult children. She was first introduced to caregiving as a
young teen when her mother owned a group home for intellectually disabled adults.
Cindy worked in caregiving throughout her life, taking time off to raise her family. Cindy
has led teams in customer service for large companies and this helped her to realize
her true passion, caring for people. Cindy has brought that passion to Home Matters
Caregiving. As our Client Services Manager she ensures our clients receive the very
best care and customer service.

Susi Wise, Recruiting and Retention Manager

As the Recruiting and Retention manager for Home Matters Caregiving, Susi is quick to tell anyone she meets (and we do mean anyone) that she has the most wonderful job in the world. She is proud to care for all of our caregivers so they can do the important work of caring for our clients. Susi has a long history of caring for others, including members of her own family. Most recently she served as an Activity Coordinator for a senior living community in Oregon. She believes in caring for others the way she would want to be cared for. During her downtime Susi loves to spend time with her puppy, her two daughters and other family. Everyday Susi looks forward to the opportunity to meet our next amazing caregiver.

Adaysia Brown, Scheduling Manager

Adaysia began her career caring for others as a caregiver, she got her CNA certificate in 2019 and spent time working in skilled nursing and In Home Care. In 2020 she went back to school to become a Medical Assistant and worked in two different clinics. She took some time off to be with her children and returned to work as an after-hours scheduling coordinator, before coming to Home Matters as our Scheduling Manager. Adaysia says her favorite part of her job is figuring out the puzzle. She loves getting to know our clients and caregivers and finding the perfect match. When she isn’t working Adaysia loves spending time with her family and her two children.

Jessica Bartholomew

Since 2016 Jessica has been a part of our team and has worn many hats for our organization. From recruiting caregiving team members to managing the schedule she’s a resource for our clients and caregivers. If you call after hours she’s often the voice behind the phone that you’ll hear.

Sabrina Clark

Sabrina Clark began with Home Matters Caregiving in 2019 and has since discovered her passion for serving the Senior Community. Sabrina has extensive experience in time management, scheduling and event planning. Sabrina is dedicated to ensuring that our clients and caregiving team are valued and appreciated with every connection. Sabrina has brought a positive attitude and nurturing spirit to our team and continues to shine as our Scheduling Manager with Home Matters Caregiving.
