Sophie was born December 31st, 1940. She grew up in the San Francisco bay area. Her favorite holiday is New Year’s because it’s the time for new beginnings. Her first childhood memory was being in Scotland with her father. She has lived in Portland most of her life, she moved here when she was 7. She was married to her first husband for 25 years, and her second, Paul, for 33 years. She raised 5 children, 3 girls and 2 boys, but unfortunately lost one of her sons about 20 years ago. Her favorite hobbies are painting, puzzles, and people! She is a very social person who loves to talk to others. Sophie’s wisdom for the younger generation is: keep an open mind, accept that other people have different opinions and that’s okay! She likes working with Home Matters because we are friendly, kind, compassionate, and extremely helpful. Our team loves working with Sophie and looks forward to seeing her smile.
