Inaugural Fund-Raising Golf Tournament

June 8, 2022

Home Matters is excited to announce that we will host our inaugural fund-raising golf tournament at the end of August to raise money and awareness of the needs of seniors living below the poverty line in our community.  Stepping up for Seniors has a mission to help seniors who are living beneath the poverty line right here in the Portland Metropolitan area.  Some of our seniors are living on less than $12,000 a year, living without family or financial support, and are not able to cover even essential expenses.  These are seniors that have spent a lifetime in our community, represent a part of our community’s history, and that need our help now.  This is what this organization is all about.
During this event you will learn:

  1. How you can help by giving time
  2. How the money you donate will allow us to help the seniors in our community
  3. How we’re already helping

More details to come about the golf tournament!
Where – Charbonneau Golf Course (www.charbonneaugolfclub.com)
