Client Spotlighting

This month Home Matters is spotlighting our client, Jill Kissinger.  Jill was born in 1946 growing up in Ukiah California, then Pennsylvania and has been in Oregon for six years.  Talking with Jill she shared an early childhood memory of a time when she was crawling around the ironing room with her mother in one room, her father in the other.  A time of no worries in her life!  Her favorite holiday just passed, Mother’s Day.  What’s not to love when you get to spend time with your daughter and grandson enjoying your favorite meal, Dungeness crab!  Jill loves reading and doing her physical therapy exercises and loves Courtyard at Mt. Tabor where she lives.

We asked Jill what advice she would share, what wisdom she would like to pass along, and her message is simple, “be kind to others”.

When we asked if she liked working with Home Matters she said “Home definitely Matters.  I need help with my medications, and it’s a night & day difference with Home Matters Caregiving.  It’s nice to be helped, the caregivers always greet me with a smile and quick to meet any needs. I highly recommend, they’ve helped me tremendously.”
