Meet Our Team

Blessing Alobo, Owner

Blessing Alobo is a devoted wife and mother of four amazing children, as well as a resilient administrator with a blend of personal motivation and unwavering dedication to helping others.

Blessing has six years of experience providing direct care to individuals across a wide range of ages—from young adults to older seniors—each with unique needs and challenges. She understands that caregiving requires a tailored approach, depending on the individual’s life stage and health conditions.

“I’ve always been drawn to the hands-on aspects of administration,” Blessing explains. “But as I gained more experience, I realized I wanted to do something that would allow me to impact my community. My passion was deeply rooted in the empathy I developed while caring for my aging father. Watching him struggle with his health left a significant gap in our family and placed a heavy burden on my mother, who became his primary caregiver. Seeing her unwavering strength and dedication inspired me, while also revealing how exhausting and overwhelming caregiving can be without support.”

With that experience, Blessing became committed to bringing the highest standard of care to her community. She is driven by her desire to support families and ensure that their loved ones receive compassionate, high-quality care.

Sam Alobo, Chief Operating Officer

In 2020, during the global Covid Pandemic, Sam Alobo, with the purpose of saving lives, volunteered and joined a group home in West Orange, New Jersey, to save and take care of individuals with special needs, ranging from young adults aged 18 to seniors of over 80 years. Sam, over the period, has served over 200 special people with different needs and care, from daily care, hospice care, transportation, medication administration, medical appointments, companionship, community care, and home aid, among others. His resolve to care for seniors led him to manage a franchise and join an extraordinary and dynamic team with his wife of over 15 years, who is determined to assist the seniors. His long-term goal is to bring smiles, comfort, companionship, and care to aging parents, friends, family members, and society. Outside Home Matters, Sam is a caring father, husband, and legal advocate against discrimination, violence, exploitation, and neglect of vulnerable individuals.
